- Presides at all Chapter and Board meetings

- Prepares year-end financial report (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)

Important Election & Term Information
Election Timeline: Slate presented no later than November meeting; elections held by end of November; results announced at December meeting; new officers assume duties January 1.
Elected Positions (4): President-Elect, Directors of Programs (2), Director of Finance, Director of Membership
Appointed Positions (3): Director of Special Events, Director of Marketing, Director of Communications (appointed by Board upon Nominating Committee recommendations)
National ATD Membership: Required for all elected offices unless Board grants waiver (Article IV, Section 2)
Term Limits: Officers may serve maximum of 2 consecutive terms in same office (completing another officer's unexpired term doesn't count toward limit)
Succession: If President position becomes vacant, President-Elect assumes duties for remainder of term AND the following year
